In a heartwarming act of generosity, the Oscar Onai Foundation on 15th August 2023 donated a substantial collection of books to the Pokrom Nsaba Presbyterian School library, promising to open new doors of knowledge for the eager young minds of this rural community.

The donation, made under the Foundation’s commitment to promoting education and literacy, includes a diverse range of books, from classic literature to modern reference materials, spanning various subjects and age groups. The gesture aims to provide students at Pokrom Nsaba School with valuable resources for both academic enrichment and personal growth.

Oscar Onai, the founder of the Oscar Onai Foundation, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, “Education is the key to a brighter future, and it starts with access to books and knowledge. This donation is a small step towards that vision.” He added that the Oscar Onai Foundation has adopted the school’s library and as such will continue to assist them.

The school’s headteacher, Mrs. Dorcas Anyetei-Wireko, expressed her gratitude for the generous gift, highlighting the immediate impact it will have on the students. “Our school library needed a refresh, and this donation will go a long way in enhancing our students’ learning experiences. We are immensely thankful to the Oscar Onai Foundation for their support.”

A local resident and Chairman of the School Management Committee, Mr. Abronoma Ofosu Nyarko shared his thoughts, saying, “This donation is like a ray of hope for our children.
