Oscar Onai Foundation Donates Books to Likpe Bakwa D/A Basic School
In a generous gesture aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for the students of Likpe Bakwa D/A Basic School, the Oscar Onai Foundation has donated a collection of quality books. The donation ceremony, held on December 7, 2023, was met with gratitude and excitement from students, staff, school management committee, and traditional leaders.
The initiative, spearheaded by the Oscar Onai Foundation, seeks to address the critical need for educational resources in underserved communities. Likpe Bakwa D/A Basic School, located in the Oti Region of Ghana, was identified as a beneficiary of this noble endeavour.
Mr. John Yonas-Lavor, the headteacher of Likpe Bakwa D/A Basic School, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the generous donation. He emphasized the importance of access to quality educational materials in nurturing the intellectual growth and academic success of students.

The donation ceremony was attended by representatives of the Oscar Onai Foundation, traditional leaders, members of the school management committee, teachers, and eager students. Additionally, a chief of the community, Nana Addo Denteh II, decried the inadequate classrooms in the school and pleaded with the foundation to offer infrastructural support. In response, Mr. Onai pledged ongoing support to ensure the sustainability of educational initiatives in Likpe Bakwa and other communities.
