The Foundation aims to do multidisciplinary research and analysis of policy on the social aspects of present-day challenges in Africa. Our research focuses on a variety of topics, including politics, economics, public health, social welfare, agriculture, and technology. This programme is designed to promote community and youth development, with emphasis on managing academic success, personal growth, economic empowerment, and the identification of preventive and promotive measures that address delinquency, drug abuse, violence, risky sexual behaviour, mental health, and disengagement from formal education.
The team is driven to study factors that affect development, create and test interventions to see if they work, examine service systems, try to make them better, and promote the use of evidence-based approaches to address behavioural and health issues. We aspire to produce new knowledge and advance research and innovation.
